Refusi

It was June 2015. I sat in the shadow of Brandhorst Museum. I was deep in translations and interpretations, in structures and convictions, when I started thinking about the original sin. The idea (urbild) of a different artistic path was born, a path devoted to merely representing figurative shapes. 
Refusi was born: a strong call to the conceptual dynamics of “mistake”, intended to be a sign of reaction to societal disapproval against the human thinking being.
Twenty-five artworks and one short film, recorded between Josef Strauss Airport and the Roman countryside, are on display from 19 to 25 March 2020, in the rooms of the Italian Cultural Institute of Munich.
